    This professional dance studio is equipped with full-length mirrors and a soft, marled floor. Designed for dance, it is also perfect for Jazzercise, Yoga, Thai Chi and other activities that require ease of motion.

    Procter gymnasium’s floors have been refurbished. This gym is equipped with four side-court basketball nets as well as full court nets. It can accommodate floor mounted as well as portable volleyball nets. In-door soccer and similar sports are permitted here.

    Three courts, each 104’ x 60’ with 30’ ceilings, easily divide with retractable screens making this space multi-dimensional. In-door soccer, basketball and volleyball function well here. The courts have modern and professionally lined floors.

    Hearst Auditorium is a versatile room that can serve as a reception hall comfortably seating 140 people on six-foot rounds, or as a lecture hall seating up to 300. The 25’-high ceilings and over sized windows offer wonderful views of the Washington National Cathedral.
  • Whitby Auditorium
    Whitby Auditorium is a multi-purpose room with a built-in stage, a kitchenette, and easy street access. School plays, exercise classes, lectures, and cocktail parties have all taken place here. A very easy in-and-out meeting room with abundant natural light.
  • Alumnae Parlor
    A stately room with historic portraits and dramatic views of Washington National Cathedral.
  • Brock Conference Room
    A beautiful meeting room with a wall-mounted, 52” HD TV, seating for 10, and a lovely view of the Washington National Cathedral. This is an intimate setting at an antique board room table with matching, high-back classic chairs. The Brock Conference room provides easy access to the NCS foyer, the North Lawn, restrooms, and parking.
  • Oak Court
    Quickly becoming a highly-desired reception area, Oak Court has an unparalleled view of the Washington National Cathedral. Rosebushes border a stone wall encircling the patio, which has plenty of shade provided by the oak tree at its center. Oak Court provides easy access to Hearst Auditorium, the grounds of the Cathedral, and the parking garage.
  • Whitby Courtyard
    The Whitby Courtyard is a well shaded, private patio area with well manicured greens. An intimate cocktail party will fit here nicely. Access is through Whitby Building or the Lowell Street which can be reserved for your event.
  • Whitby Terrace
    Whitby Terrace is another hidden gem of the National Cathedral School. This terrace sits above 36th Street and is connected to the Whitby Building or Lower School of NCS. Red brick flooring, patio furniture and the view make it a wonderful afternoon reception location.
